I hear you: you are an educator, not a web designer!

Yes, for the longest time I’ve been struggling to create pleasing looking online content. My drawings don’t look better much better than when I was in primary school; nor my aesthetic sense has improved either!

Whether we like it or not, students really don’t like to engage with content that isn’t particularly appealing, bad aligned or that it cannot be view properly on a mobile devices.

Therefore creating content for students must have at least these elements.

That’s why we have are launching Snippets

Snippets

Snippets are web little widgets that can be apply to any activity in LAMS and allows you to create pixel perfect content that works in all devices.

They can also be combined to aggregate them into pretty and amazing looking pages.

Creating beautiful educational content with Snippets

Text Snippets

Text Snippets includes:

  • Paragraphs
  • Headings and paragraphs combo
  • Two and three columns (stackable when using smaller devices)
  • Statements/quotes
  • Alerts and information bubbles
  • All sorts of panels in different colours
  • Full page designs (Jumbotron and Header Waves)

Image Snippets

  • Centred image
  • Full-width image
  • Image and text (see example above)

  • Two and three columns images with description
