While LAMS activities and design tools work great for adding instructions for students to perform activities, we had little support for giving teachers instructions on how to better run a lesson.

Now in LAMS Author, you can add teaching instructions describing the learning outcomes, key learning points for each activity in the design.

And of course, when you are running your lesson with the students, you want to have these instructions available to know exactly which activities students might need support or how to best provide facilitation and feedback.

In LAMS Monitor, if the are instructions available in the design a new “Instructions” tab is displayed. When you click on it, the teaching instructions added when creating the design are displayed.

For this, we have now an new tab in monitor that will display all these instructions for you and all teachers involved in the lesson:

Many thanks to Beck McCarter for her suggestions on this new feature.
